1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
The Clerk opened the meeting and asked for nominations for a temporary chair. Alun Ffred Jones was appointed temporary chair until Nick Ramsay arrived.
The temporary chair welcomed everybody to the meeting. Apologies were received from Julie James, Keith Davies and Dafydd Elis-Thomas. There were no substitutes.
2. Motion to establish a sub-committee for the Smoke-free Premises etc (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012
The Committee agreed the Motion.
3. Inquiry into Integrated Public Transport - Evidence session
The Chair welcomed Professor Stuart Cole. Members questioned the witness.
4. Inquiry into Integrated Public Transport - Evidence session
The Chair welcomed Richard Cope and Tracey Mcadam. Apologies were received from Hubert Mathias. Members questioned the witnesses.
Action point:
Association of Transport Co-ordinating Officers agreed to provide the Committee with a note on how it thinks the Welsh Government should seek to influence UK Competition rules, in the context of the Competition Commission’s recommendations on local bus services.
